This Season 'for God so loved the world'

How amazing is the love of our heavenly Father. How wonderful His compassionate grace toward mankind. Instead of writing us off because of our wicked ways He loved us and offered His only Son as sacrifice for all our sins. We owe a debt of love to Him. He asks us to love not only Him, not only one another but to love the sinner enough to share the gospel with them. We must not allow sins we see cause our love to grow cold. If our love grows cold who will proclaim the gospel to a world living in fear of judgment? We have nothing to fear for Love (Agape) never fails. When we proclaim Christ Jesus we are proclaiming the love of God and the power of the gospel to change lives.

This Christmas season give the best gift you can give. Give the gospel. If you haven’t shared the message of Jesus then check and repair your agape gauge, make a New Year’s resolution and begin to practice giving the most important gift possible this year. Choose daily to be cognizant of every opportunity to give Christ and begin giving Him this season.

“16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8

"12 And because lawlessness will multiply, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end, this one will be delivered. 14 This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations….” Matthew 24:12-14

"17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear hath torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. 19 We love him, because he first loved us." 1 John 4:17-19

Thank you for the reminder of His love for us. He loved us enough to not only apprehend us but keep us no matter how terrible the circumstances appear around us. He is faithful to His word.
