On Your Feet

A few days ago, my sister was cleaning out her desk and came across a quotation that she had saved and emailed it to me today. I liked it so thought I would share it with you. And I quote, "One of the highest of human duties is the duty of encouragement. It is easy to laugh at someone's ideals; it is easy to pour cold water on their enthusiasm; it is easy to discourage others. The world is full of discouragers. We have a duty to encourage one another. Many times a word of praise or thanks or appreciation or cheer has kept a person on their feet.".....by William Barclay.

One of the most influential things that we can do for another person is to encourage them. You may never know just how far your words to someone will go but remember what it says in Proverbs “A word spoken at the right time is like golden apples on a silver tray.” Proverbs 25:11

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11

May this day find you on your feet.
